I'm at work, attempting to amuse myself on a saturday morning, when I should be at home, outside enjoying the warm 80+ degree weather. Sigh. All this time I thought once I get my degree I'd be teaching, enjoying my job, and NOT working Saturdays anymore- at least not all day every Saturday. I keep telling myself it's not permanent, but the fact that I'm going to be working through the summer at a $10 an hour job is well, discouraging. The whole putting my career thing on hold annoys me, but such is the life of the military spouse. I guess the alternative is to not work, which I could not do because I HAVE to be doing something or I'll go insane. I am thankful that I have a high paying job here in Mississippi. Is that not crazy? 10 bucks an hour plus commission and I'm a high roller! lol.
Sigh. I'm so glad I've brought my Macbook today. I can at least peruse the Internet and get some schoolwork done. Gorgeous weather outside, so today is going to be sloooooooow.
I wonder what the Bossman would say if he was here today?
